Job summary

Constellation Energy seeks engineers at entry, mid-level (E02) or senior (E03) to support nuclear plant operations. You will perform advanced engineering analyses, manage tasks, and provide technical decisions with attention to codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering in the specified fields with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5 years nuclear experience or related engineering experience
• Must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 requirements for personnel selection, qualification and training
• Maintain access requirements or unescorted access and pass medical examination/testing

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Provide complete task management of engineering issues.
• Perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles.
• Ensure configuration management and use of standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes in plans and specs.
• Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses for projects and programs.
• Recommend equipment and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs or comply with codes.
• Support outage activities and other duties as directed by management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
