Job summary

Boston Government Services (BGS) seeks a Chemical Engineer to support the Mechanical Project Design group at the Oak Ridge Y-12 Plant. This onsite role will provide process design support for the Lithium Processing Facility project, including flowsheet development and related analyses.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (ABET-accredited) with 10+ years of experience in complex nuclear or chemical facilities, U.S. citizenship, and DOE security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of progressive professional experience in process design for complex nuclear or chemical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Flowsheet development (block diagrams, P&IDs), analyses and calculations, reports and process descriptions.
• Other duties as assigned.
