Job summary

Mavis is seeking an Automotive Alignment Technician for our Leesburg, VA area centers. You will use advanced equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to ensure safety and straight travel.

Responsibilities include oil/filters, flat repairs, and other services as needed. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in tire maintenance, are 18+, and legally authorized to work in the U.S.; state inspection license preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• State inspection license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align tires using the latest equipment and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure proper handling and tire wear.
• Perform oil and filter changes, flat repairs and other required automotive services on customer vehicles.
• Complete state-mandated inspections as part of the role.

We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Leesburg, VA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Alignment Technicians you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
