Job summary

NTB / Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking an Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis in Spring, TX. This full-time role uses the latest equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, and performing inspections, oil changes, and repairs as needed.

Responsibilities include standing and moving around a shop, with occasional heavy lifting, and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• be at least 18 years of age.
• be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent.
• State inspection license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform movements related to vehicle and tire maintenance.
• Regularly lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds.

Skills

We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Spring, TX area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.
