Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at a service center in the Arlington, TX area.

The role involves aligning tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure safe, straight travel, and performing state inspections, oil/filters changes and basic repairs as needed. Training and career growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year of experience or training in mounting, dismounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• State inspection license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use modern equipment to align tires and wheels on customer vehicles.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to ensure long tire life and straight travel.
• Perform basic services such as oil and filter changes and flat repairs as needed.
• Assist with other automotive service tasks as required.

NTB is proud to join the Mavis Tire Family. We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Arlington, TX area.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

• Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles.
• By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true.
• Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.
• As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair.
• Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• To be eligible for the position of Automotive Alignment Technicians you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.
