NTB / Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking an Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at a center in the Louis, IL area. The role focuses on aligning tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, and delivering service that reduces tire wear and ensures straight travel.

Responsibilities include completing state inspections and routine maintenance tasks, with on-the-job training and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.

We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Louis, IL area. With over 4,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Alignment Technicians you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.
