Job summary

NTB / Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Nottingham, MD is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at a state-of-the-art service center. You will align tires, measure camber and toe, and perform related maintenance tasks to ensure safe, straight travel for customers' vehicles.

Qualified candidates have 1 year of tire service experience and are at least 18, legally authorized to work in the United States, with the ability to lift over 50 pounds and stand

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States and at least 18 years old.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• State inspection license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use equipment to align tires and wheels and measure caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Perform oil and filter changes, flat repairs and other requested services.
• Maintain safety, quality standards and complete required inspections.

NTB is proud to join the Mavis Tire Family. We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Nottingham, MD area.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Alignment Technicians you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
