Nucor Steel Berkeley is seeking an Entry‑Level Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals (up to 5 years of experience) who want hands‑on experience, real responsibility, and long‑term growth opportunities in a manufacturing environment.

This position reports to the Accounting Manager. The starting salary is $65,540.00 per year plus bonus, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement within Nucor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant coursework or academic projects will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Supporting cash management, inventory accounting, and fixed asset management
• Assisting with forecasting, cost analysis, and expense reviews
• Supporting special projects and process improvements
• Working collaboratively with finance, operations, and other departments

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field

Relevant coursework or academic projects will be considered

Minimum Qualifications:

• Interest in pursuing CMA certification or a related graduate degree
• Manufacturing or cost accounting exposure
• Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems
