Job summary

Teradyne’s Semiconductor Test Division is seeking a Process Engineer to develop PCBA structural test strategies and implement test solutions. You will collaborate with HW/SW and manufacturing teams to ensure quality at every production gate and to deliver reliable, cost‑effective test methods.

Responsibilities include integrating with hardware development for test plans, driving ICT and flying probe development, selecting PCB components, and supporting fixture quotes and validation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electronics preferred).
  • 2+ years in printed circuit board assembly testing.
  • Proficiency with In-Circuit Test development on platforms such as Teradyne Test Station or equivalent.
  • Experience with ICT Fixture development and fabrication process.
  • Proficient in measurement techniques and process controls for yield analysis, statistics CP/CPK and normal distributions a plus.
  • Experience with PCB layout/design review software (Cadence Allegro, Valor); EMS/CM supplier collaboration desirable.
  • Experience with scripting language (Perl, Python, etc.), Visual Basic / C# .NET is a plus.
  • Able to travel ~10%; periodic calls with Asian teams and suppliers.

The Opportunity

Teradyne’s Semiconductor Test Division develops the world’s leading equipment for testing electronics. Inside STD, our Operations New Product Introduction Group is looking for a dynamic, technically skilled Process Engineer who will be responsible for PCBA Structural test development and will play a crucial role in designing, developing and implementing test solutions for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our products, contributing to Teradyne’s mission to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship .

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is$76,600-$122,500. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
