Job summary

Silent-Aire, a Johnson Controls division, is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Quality Engineer to drive quality across NPI and manufacturing of data center equipment in Gilbert, AZ.

You will lead APQP activities, DFMEAs/PFMEAs, and control plans, collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and customers, and guide RCAs and 8D problem-solving to uphold safety, integrity and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing and plant quality experience in equipment production.
• Experience with APQP, DFMEAs, PFMEAs and Control Plans.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Quality APQP activities and lead in NPIs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Plant Quality to develop QRD, PFMEA/DFMEA, and Control Plans.
• Maintain QRD deliverables throughout the stage gate process.
• Champion process control plans for NPIs with manufacturing and plant quality.
• Lead RCAs and 8D problem-solving for warranty or commissioning issues.
• Engage with customers and represent the voice of the customer.
