Job summary

Cirrus Logic is hiring a Product Engineer to support the launch and optimization of new mixed-signal audio products. You will join a cross-functional team to analyze yield, test-time, cost, and quality data, and help with NPI ramp plans and reporting for stakeholders.

No prior industry experience is required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. You will collaborate with design, test, validation, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure milestones and robust production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or expected completion of the degree in the near term.
• Coursework, academic projects, internship experience, or personal projects involving statistics, data analysis, programming, or scripting.
• Basic understanding of hardware design and semiconductor manufacturing or reliability concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in learning how products are tested and manufactured.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support product launches and new product introduction activities for mixed-signal audio products.
• Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to analyze yield, test-time, cost, and quality data.
• Assist with NPI ramp plans, statistical analysis, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the test team to support production test coverage and improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Coordinate with design, test, validation, manufacturing, failure analysis, quality, and operations teams to support product milestones and resolve issues.
• Help investigate customer samples and returns.
• Support failure analysis, risk assessments, and corrective actions to improve product robustness and production readiness.
• Contribute to yield enhancement and cost reduction projects.
