Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supporting NPI/NPD activities in a regulated environment.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and GD&T.
• Experience designing/measuring electromechanical systems and components.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, MDR/MDD, and design validation.
• Strong documentation, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement manufacturing equipment for new product development.
• Develop mechanical and electro-mechanical systems and equipment.
• Integrate mechanical and electrical components, including PLC-based control systems.
• Evaluate existing processes and implement improvements to boost productivity and quality.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
• Prepare equipment specifications, design docs, and technical procedures.
• Coordinate equipment design, procurement, installation, and validation.
• Perform process and product validation to meet specs and quality standards.
• Apply DOE techniques to support optimization and problem-solving.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and engineers on issues.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, quality requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product teams for launches.
• Communicate project progress and challenges to management.
• Perform additional duties to support objectives.
