Job summary

Carrier is seeking an NPI Engineer to lead the industrialization and launch of new products at a Carrier manufacturing facility, ensuring timely, on-quality launches. You will coordinate APQP, PPAP, and cross-functional transfer to production with Design, Manufacturing and Quality teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of NPI or product-industrialization experience in manufacturing, with strong project-management and CAD proficiency.

About This Role

The NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer leads the industrialization and launch of new products at a Carrier manufacturing facility, ensuring successful, on-time, on-quality launches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads the industrialization and launch of new products (NPI).
  • Coordinates APQP, PPAP and process-validation phases.
  • Partners with Design, Manufacturing and Quality on transfer to production.
  • Manages pilot runs, validations and product release.
  • Ensures projects meet time, cost and quality gates.
  • Documents processes and standards for new products.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of NPI or product-industrialization experience in manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience with product launches in high-growth environments.
  • Project-management and CAD proficiency; PMP or Six Sigma preferred.
  • CAD and quality-tools proficiency.
  • Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP and process validation.Proven ability to manage launches to time, cost and quality gates.
  • Experience coordinating pilot runs, validations and production transfer with cross-functional teams.
Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
