Job summary

OhioHealth seeks an NPD Practitioner to provide designated educational support to the Women's Health Leadership team, guiding needs assessments, competency management, and education development in line with OhioHealth policies. The role covers onboarding, mentorship, research, and quality improvement, applying adult learning theories to enhance practice across units, within a 36-hour weekly schedule.

This role is paired with a 12-hour Staff RN in the Women’s Health Pavilion Medical Surgical

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• RN license in Ohio is required.
• Clinical certification in unit specialty is preferred (e.g., RNC-OB; RN-BC).
• 3–5 years' experience in designated clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Develops individualized professional development plans for associates.
• Uses ADDIE model for education planning and evaluation.
• Coordinates implementation of educational plans and resources.
• Collaborates with unit leadership to identify educational opportunities.
• Ensures evidence-based guidelines are used for safe practice.
