Job summary

Capital Medical Group is seeking a dedicated NP to join the Primary Care team in an outpatient setting. You will work closely with physicians to provide comprehensive care for patients with various primary care conditions, including assessments, follow-up visits, and managing patient load.

The NP will participate in team-focused patient care, perform examinations, and develop appropriate care plans. We offer a competitive base salary with annual bonuses, CME reimbursement up to $1,500 annually,

Qualifications

• Must have NP Master’s degree or higher.
• Current DC RN and NP license.
• NP board certification (AANP/ANCC).
• BLS required to start.
• DEA registration to write prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient examinations and evaluations.
• Develop and implement patient care plans.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic procedures.
• Collaborate with medical team for team-based care.
• Possibly precept medical students or learners.

Education

Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program

Current District of Columbia RN/NP license

Board certification as NP (AANP or ANCC)

BLS or ACLS (AHA/Red Cross)

DEA registration for prescription writing
