Job summary

Aspirus Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Walk-In department at Aspirus Houghton Clinic as an occasional provider. This role focuses on delivering acute, outpatient care in a community hospital setting. The position involves 10-hour shifts (8:00 a.m.

to 6:00 p.m.) with coverage on an as-needed basis. You will evaluate and treat patients of all ages and perform procedures onsite, including suturing and I&D, with lab, x-ray, and pharmacy

• Diagnose and treat acute needs such as respiratory illnesses, tick bites, strep throat, UTIs, and fractures/sprains
• Perform standard outpatient procedures including suturing, foreign body removal, splinting/bracing, and incision & drainage (I&D)
• Lab, x-ray, and pharmacy services onsite
