Job summary

Pinehurst Medical Clinic in Pinehurst, NC is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its established primary care team at the Heather Glen location. The selected candidate will function independently in collaboration with a supervising physician to provide quality primary care access for PMC patients.

The role involves managing acute and chronic care, taking histories and physicals, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and performing minor wound care.

Qualifications

• Experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in primary care.
• Ability to work independently with supervising physician
• Strong patient care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute and chronic patient care including histories, physicals, monitoring therapies, injections, prescribing medications and suturing minor wounds.
• Establish and manage own panel alongside MDs; collaborate with care team.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, one half day a week; no weekends or holidays.
• Onsite resources include labs, X-ray, ultrasound, and infusion services.

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its established primary care team at its PMC Heather Glen location in Pinehurst, NC. The appropriate candidate will function independently in collaboration with a supervising physician to provide quality primary care access to PMC patients

Job Overview

• Provide acute and chronic patient care including taking histories, doing physicals, monitoring therapies, giving injections, prescribing medications, and suturing minor wounds.
• Established team of 16 providers
• Work with care team including physician, nurse, and/or CMA
• Mixture of MD panel support and own panel
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, one half day a week, no weekends or holidays
• Onsite resources: comprehensive lab services, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography screenings, and infusion services
• Other in-house services for PMC patients: retail pharmacy, Walk-In Clinics, wellness resources, CT, echocardiogram, and bone densitometry
