Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Tyler, TX is seeking a licensed NP/PA for a PRN role to cover Pre Admission Surgery Screening clinics when APCs are on PTO. The position requires flexibility to be available on short notice and to work as needed within the local area.

There is no per diem or travel stipend; benefits include malpractice insurance, competitive compensation, and the Epic EMR system within CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic and CHRISTUS Physician Group.

Qualifications

• Licensed in TX or eligible to be licensed.
• NP/PA experience required; new graduates will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide NP/PA coverage for Pre Admission Surgery Screening clinics when APCs are out.
• Be available regularly to cover shifts as needed, as a true PRN/per diem role.

Summary

This position will be a true PRN position, covering for the full-time APCs in our Pre Admission Surgery Screening clinics when they are out on PTO.

The NP/PA hired for this position would need to be available when needed on a regular basis.

There is no per diem or travel stipend, ideal for someone local or within reasonable driving distance to Tyler, TX.
