Job summary

OptumCare is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Compton, CA team. The clinicians we seek practice medicine with a focus on patient care, taking the time to address patient needs in a collaborative setting.

Position highlights include coverage of patients from newborns to geriatrics, a M-F 8am-5pm schedule, and an emphasis on quality care. New grads are welcome, with a comprehensive benefits package and an advanced EMR system in place.

Qualifications

• New grads are welcome to apply.
• Unrestricted CA license.
• CA DEA certificate required prior to start date.
• Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant school.
• EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
• Patient volume is 18-20 on average.
• See patients of all ages, newborns to geriatric age.
• Work schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm.
