Job summary

ChristianaCare in Newark, DE and Elkton, MD is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to manage complex oncology patients with substantial autonomy and physician support. The role includes daily office visits, supervising the chemotherapy infusion nursing team, and coordinating with a full office staff.

There are no nights, holidays, weekends or on-call requirements. Oncology experience is preferred though candidates with infusion management in other acute care settings will be

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program required.
• License or license eligible in the State of Delaware and Maryland, and meet credentialing requirements.
• Oncology experience required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• See complex oncology patients in office with high autonomy and physician support.
• Oversee the chemotherapy infusion nursing team.
• Coordinate care with a full office staff (MA/OA/triage/infusion nurses).
• No nights, holidays, weekends, or on-call required.
