Qualifications

• Certification as an APRN, NP, or PA (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
• Proficiency with EMR systems and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret instructions and apply learned concepts in real-world scenarios.
• Competency in relevant medical calculations and high-stress emergency ability.
• Compliance with HIPAA standards and patient privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Review patient records to determine diagnostic and therapeutic plans.
• Establish presumptive diagnoses and order labs and procedures.
• Administer injections, immunizations, medications; suture wounds.
• Provide patient education and treatment instructions; document encounters accurately.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and participate in meetings and development.
• Address patient concerns promptly and maintain professionalism.
