Job summary

United Wound Healing in Eugene, OR is seeking a Skin & Wound Care Provider (NP/PA-C) for a full-time, weekday schedule. This role offers a Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM pattern with no nights, weekends, or on-call, covering a regional territory.

You will lead wound care teams, perform assessments, dressings, minor procedures, and collaborate with medical physicians across wound care and related specialties, while benefiting from comprehensive health plans and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP or PA-C licensed in the state of employment.
• 1–2 years wound care experience preferred, but comprehensive training is provided.
• Willingness to travel regionally and cover a multi-site territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary wound care teams across assigned care locations.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds and house calls within your region.
• Provide high‑quality skin and wound care, including assessment and dressing applications.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic studies to guide care decisions.
• Maintain timely documentation in the wound care EMR and collaborate with physicians.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary: $135,000.00 - $175,000.00 (DOE) plus bonus potential | Exempt, Full-Time | Anticipated Territory: 4 days in Eugene & Roseburg

WHAT YOU BRING

• Credentials: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP, FNP, ARNP, APRN) or Physician Assistant/Associate (PA-C), licensed in the state of employment
• Experience: 1–2 years of wound care and/or surgical experience preferred but not required — extensive paid training is provided
• Mobility: Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance — this role covers a regional territory
• Physical: Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills — you’ll work with patients, families, nursing staff, and medical leadership daily
• Initiative: Self-starter who can schedule and manage appointments independently with punctuality and professionalism

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead multidisciplinary wound care teams across assigned care locations, conducting weekly wound rounds and house calls within your region
• Deliver high-quality skin and wound care every visit, including assessment, dressing application, pressure relief, pain/odor management, and minor surgical procedures
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies to guide care decisions and build individualized treatment plans aligned with UWH's Clinical Practice Guidelines
• Maintain timely documentation in UWH's wound care EMR to track healing progress
• Collaborate virtually with UWH's board-certified medical physicians and surgeons across wound care, dermatology, podiatry, vascular surgery, and infectious disease
