Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks a board-certified neonatology physician to provide NICU care at a Worcester hospital. The role is on-site with 24/7 coverage, including some nights, in a high-acuity setting.

You will work closely with neonatologists, nurses, and respiratory therapists, managing ventilators and complex life-support therapies while ensuring meticulous documentation and compassionate family communication. MA licensure and PALS are required.

Qualifications

• Board certified in pediatrics or neonatology and licensed in MA.
• MA medical license is required.
• PALS certification required.
• Fellowship in neonatology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive NICU care for critically ill neonates in a 24/7 onsite setting.
• Manage ventilators, IVs, and medications for neonates requiring life support.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and respiratory therapists to develop treatment plans.
• Perform neonatal procedures such as intubation, umbilical line placement, lumbar puncture, and chest tube insertion.
• Ensure accurate documentation and communicate with families per hospital protocols.
