Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in digital printing or press operation preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Basic understanding of color reproduction and print quality.
• Able to read and interpret job tickets and production specs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and adjust the EFI Nozomi 18000 press for various print jobs and substrates.
• Monitor print quality and make adjustments to meet specs.
• Troubleshoot equipment, print quality, and production issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press and related equipment.
• Read and interpret job tickets, layouts, and production specifications.
• Operate pre-feed systems and coating units safely and efficiently.
• Ensure correct front-to-back registration on two-sided prints.
• Verify paper stocks, substrates, and materials prior to production.
• Monitor machine status, error messages, and consumables.
• Complete production, maintenance, inventory, and quality documentation.
• Follow production schedules and coordinate with leadership and maintenance personnel.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment.
• Comply with safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
