Job summary

HARDY INDUSTRIES, located in Gallup, New Mexico, is looking for skilled technicians in I.T. and Telecom for a hands-on role. This position encompasses a variety of technical tasks such as OS installations, structured cabling, and telecom work across different environments. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Execute structured cabling including drilling and running cables.
• Conduct telecom work like punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across various environments like retail and medical.
• Respond to service requests within your territory.

Are you a hands‑on I.T. or Telecom professional looking for something beyond the desk? AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled, driven technicians to support our growing national client base. This role goes far beyond basic helpdesk tasks – one day you might be installing an operating system, the next you might be drilling through walls and running structured cabling across entire buildings, or terminating a 66‑block.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of technical tasks including:
• • OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup
  • Structured cabling (including drilling, running, and dressing cables)
  • Telecom work (punch‑downs, demarc extensions, etc.)
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory

Preferred Skills & Experience

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience (a strong plus)
• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience, and one of the following:
• • A+ Certification
  • Network+ Certification
  • OR 5+ years verifiable field experience in I.T./Telecom

Required Equipment & Qualifications

• Reliable personal vehicle (public transportation not accepted)

• Must have a standard set of tools for basic I.T. and networking tasks (e.g., screwdrivers, cable testers, crimpers)
• Laptop with Ethernet port

• Ability to accept job assignments based on your availability; being on‑call 24/7 is a strong advantage
