ComForCare Home Care – Central DuPage seeks a reliable CNA/Caregiver/HHA to support a senior client in Wheaton, IL. Weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM offer consistent part-time employment in the home setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, safe transfers using a Hoyer Lift, mobility support, meal prep, medication reminders, and companionship. Prior professional caregiving experience is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Professional caregiving experience required.
• Hands-on Hoyer Lift or mechanical lift experience.
• Ability to work weekends in a client’s home.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with ADLs.
• Use a Hoyer Lift for safe transfers.
• Assist with repositioning, mobility and transfers.
• Support bathing, toileting, grooming and dressing.
• Provide incontinence care as needed.
• Follow safe patient-handling and fall-prevention practices.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Provide medication reminders per care plan.
• Complete light housekeeping related to client care.
• Monitor and report changes in condition.
• Follow individualized service plan and communicate with office/family.

ComForCare Home Care – Central DuPage is seeking a reliable and experienced CNA, Caregiver, or HHA to support a senior client in Wheaton, Illinois. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is confident with safe patient handling, enjoys one-on-one caregiving, and is available for a consistent weekend schedule.

Hands-on experience using a Hoyer Lift or mechanical patient lift is required.

Position Information

• Location: Wheaton, IL
• Schedule: Saturday and Sunday
• Hours: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Position: CNA / Caregiver / HHA

Your Role

As a member of our in-home care team, you will help promote the client's safety, dignity, comfort, and independence throughout the day.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Using a Hoyer Lift or mechanical lift for safe transfers
• Assisting with repositioning, mobility, and transfers
• Supporting bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing
• Providing incontinence care as needed
• Following safe patient-handling and fall-prevention practices
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when necessary
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Providing medication reminders according to the care plan
• Completing light housekeeping related to the client's care
• Monitoring and reporting changes in the client's condition
• Following the client's individualized service plan
• Communicating professionally with the office, family, and care team

Qualifications

• CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant
• Caregiver
• HHA – Home Health Aide
• Personal Care Assistant
• Private Duty Caregiver
• Home Care Aide

Qualified candidates should have:

• Previous professional caregiving or senior-care experience
• Hands-on Hoyer Lift or mechanical lift experience
• Knowledge of safe transfers, mobility assistance, and fall prevention
• Ability to provide respectful and patient-centered care
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently in a client’s home
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation, if required
• Willingness to complete required screening and onboarding procedures
