Job summary

Visiting Angels Chadds Ford is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our Avondale, PA team. We offer flexible shifts including full-time, part-time, daytime, evening, weekend and overnight positions.

Provide companionship, personal care, meal assistance, and home support to seniors, with paid trainings and opportunities for advancement. All applicants must meet TB clearance and driving requirements. Competitive hourly pay of $15–$17 and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must have TB clearance: 2-Step PPD, QuantiFERON Blood Test, Chest X-Ray.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping and run errands
• Support seniors in maintaining their safety, comfort, and independence at home
