Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Food Service Workers for on-site roles in Monroe, LA. Positions are available as full-time and part-time with a schedule from early morning to evening, including weekends and holidays. Prior related experience is preferred, with training offered as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience is preferred; training available.
• Must be able to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Willing to train for the role.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work: washing, peeling, cutting, seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards for quality and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
