Job summary

SLCC is seeking an adjunct instructor to lead Notary Public prep courses as part of the Workforce & Economic Development department. The role focuses on preparing students to become commissioned Louisiana Notary Public and to pass the Notary Public exam, with classes offered at multiple campus locations including Abbeville and nearby towns.

Applicants should hold a High School Diploma, have at least 3 years of active Notary experience, a valid driver’s license, and a current Louisiana Notary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 3 years of active Notary experience.
• Current Louisiana Notary commission required.
• Driver's license must be active.
• Train the Trainer course must be completed before classes begin.

Responsibilities

• Instruct individuals pursuing licensure as Louisiana Notary Public.
• Prepare students to take the Notary Public exam.
