Overview

SMS is seeking a Sr. Network Administrator to support large-scale migration and operations on a high-profile DoD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable DTRA's ITD to modernize and innovate IT services and mission capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Support planning, designing, and evaluating network components.
  • Provide specifications for network architecture, evaluate new technologies, and perform needs assessments.
  • Monitor, install, modify, test, and service network equipment.
  • Handle internal projects, drive initiatives, support ITIL activities, and manage operations and change procedures.
  • Develop and enforce SOPs supporting the prime contractor and CMS.
  • Manage a team of Network & Firewall Administrators.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of experience or Master's with 6-10 years; Doctorate in technical domain preferred.
  • Management experience in large IT infrastructure, preferably for the US government.
  • Experience with Cisco technologies, F5 Load balancers, data center hardware, and ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
  • Ability to follow strict change control processes, mentor junior staff, maintain IAT level II certification, and hold an active Top Secret clearance.
