Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is seeking an Area Distribution Manager to lead depot operations in the Tacoma, WA and Portland, OR areas. You will drive performance, safety, routing optimization, and team development to support growth across distribution channels.

You’ll coach a ~15-person team, analyze data to improve efficiency, and collaborate with sales, merchandising and operations to maximize delivery success and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years related experience, distribution/sales leadership preferred.
• Proficient with Windows and MS Office.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of ~15 staff across northern Oregon and western Washington.
• Lead routing optimization and pre-/post-trip execution to improve delivery.
• Ensure DOT compliance and safety practices.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop depot staff.
• Prepare and present budget and KPI reports to management.
