Amada Senior Care Northshore is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. You will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being and providing companionship.

Requirements include 1+ years experience and a valid ID; drivers license preferred. We offer weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and both full-time and part-time opportunities in the Skokie and North Shore area.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience or equivalent required.
• Valid ID and Social Security Card required.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Ability to commute/relocate to North/Western Suburbs (Skokie area).
• HIPAA knowledge and caregiving techniques are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks and errands.

Job Summary

• Implement behavior management techniques when necessary.

Skills

• Experience in assisted living or senior care environments.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Proficiency in caregiving techniques.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
• Familiarity with home care systems.
• Background in childcare, social work, or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

What you will be doing

Assisting clients with activities of daily living. Services may include, but are not limited to, activity of daily living support, personal care, bathing/toileting, medication reminding, light house-keeping, personal laundry, cooking, shopping, assistance in getting to and from appointments, maintenance of household records, and companionship.
