Job summary

BD in Columbus, NE, is seeking a manufacturing maintenance technician for on-site work. You will monitor production equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and report issues to supervision while ensuring cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Mathematical skills: basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Reasoning ability to solve problems.
• Basic computer skills required.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains equipment used in manufacturing process.
• Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment as required.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintains productivity in accordance with plant goals.
• Monitors own work area to ensure that it remains free of obstructions and other hazards.
• Completes any necessary paperwork.
• Complies with good manufacturing practices and all other FDA regulations.
• Wears protective clothing as required.
• Works in a safe manner.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Completes all required training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
