Becton Dickinson is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our on-site facility in Columbus, Nebraska. The role focuses on monitoring and maintaining manufacturing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safe, compliant operations in a high-volume plastics environment.
The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and up to two years of plastics injection molding experience.
Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes. Continuous standing and walking throughout the day. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Good dexterity to handle small parts. Good vision to see details. Ability to discern colors. Hearing sufficient to hear equipment signals. Manual dexterity to use hand tools.
Exposure to noise, vibration, temperature changes, humidity, chemical fumes/odors, greases/oils, dust, dirt, etc.
