Job summary

The New Hampshire Small Business Development Center (NH SBDC), an outreach program of the University of New Hampshire, seeks a business advisor for the North Country Region. You will evaluate small business issues and provide solutions-based guidance, covering finance, marketing, administration, regulatory matters, and more.

Expect travel, client data management, and collaboration with Lead Center. You will deliver individualized, confidential advising, develop resources, and help clients craft

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in accounting, business management, or related field with 3–5 years of accounting/financial management or related experience.
• Three to five years of business advising experience.
• MBA or equivalency to training/experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Interview and assess client needs; provide in-depth, one-on-one confidential business advising.
• Assist clients with developing business, financing and marketing plans and management issues.
• Promote growth and sustainability through sales, job creation, and capital formation.
