Job summary

Talkspace Psychiatry in North Carolina is seeking a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide care for patients in licensure states. This remote contract role emphasizes flexibility and private-practice independence with no insurance billing or marketing overhead.

You will conduct PDE interviews for new patients and E/M sessions for existing ones, using Talkspace to document, treat, and coordinate care with the psychiatry team. Active NC PMHNP license and DEA/NPI required.

• Reliable internet connection.
• Independent liability insurance; minimum coverage $1M occurrence/$3M aggregate.

This is a contract position

What you'll do:

• Treat patients in your state(s) of licensure
• Conduct initial Psychiatric Diagnosis Interview Examinations (PDE) for new patient referrals and Evaluation & Management (E/M) sessions for established patients
• Use the Talkspace platform to conduct video call sessions with patients, submit clinical documentation, and manage patient treatment plans
• Coordinate with the Talkspace psychiatry team as needed

Compensation:

• $110 per initial session with a new patient referral (Psychiatric Diagnosis Interview Examination - 45-60 min)
• $30-$85 per follow-up session with an established patient, depending on the length of the session (Evaluation and Management - 10-49 min)

About you:

• You must have an active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in North Carolina state
• Active DEA and individual NPI number
• Submission of a fully completed, signed CAQH application
• Collaborating/supervising physician agreement, or willing to obtain one
• Reliable internet connection
• Independent liability insurance; minimum coverage amount required is $1 million occurrence/$3 million aggregate
