Job summary

Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a North American Logistics Specialist in Grand Rapids, MI to support day-to-day processes for clients, carriers and TM system functionality. You will work with a team to implement best practices, manage rate tenders, track and trace shipments, and source prospective carriers.

The role requires 1–3 years of 3PL/logistics experience and a related Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of 3PL/freight broker, transportation and/or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience using LTL and FTL carriers.
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall support to the North American Operational Team.
• Manage daily execution (rate, tender, track and trace) of customer shipments for all modes.
• Communicate effectively to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, carriers, shippers and receivers.
• Source prospective carriers using various web portals and tools.
• Spot quote Drayage, FTL, LTL, and Project Cargo shipments and execute accepted loads.
