Job summary

Munich Re America Services (MRAS) seeks a Head of Corporate Security North America to lead regional security operations, risk management and crisis response. You will drive security strategy, manage a regional team and coordinate with global security functions to protect employees, sites, and assets in NYC and other major locations.

The role requires a strong background in leadership, risk assessment and cross-border programs, with fluency in English and experience managing large security

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline and 7–10 years in security leadership.
• Experience managing complex, cross-border security and risk programs in multinational settings.
• Strong leadership and budgeting capabilities, with executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations across North America with regional and global alignment.
• Lead recruitment, development and performance of regional security personnel.
• Manage budget planning, target setting and cost control for security.
• Coordinate risk assessments, incident response and crisis management.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to assess risks to physical security and resilience.
