Preyer US Corp, a subsidiary of Preyer GmbH, seeks a Junior Consultant (full-time) to join our North American team. You will undergo the Preyer Academy training, then join a dynamic consulting team on diverse projects at client sites or remotely.

Travel within North America is expected, with some trips to Europe; the role offers hands-on responsibility from day one and a collaborative, international environment.

Qualifications

• University degree and an affinity for IT and finance.
• Preferably internship in banking, insurance, asset management or financial risk controlling.
• Willingness to travel within North America and occasionally to Europe.
• German basics or willingness to learn German.

Responsabilités

• Implementing, realigning, expanding, and/or optimizing existing IT systems
• Reviewing, evaluating and enhancing existing risk frameworks and risk processes
• Implementing new regulatory requirements (e.g., market, credit, liquidity, or operational risk)
• Providing technical assistance in developing smaller software tools commissioned by our North American clients

Junior Consultant (full-time)

Job description:

Initially, you will undergo our personalized Preyer Academy training program, designed to equip you for professional and technical challenges. Following this, you will integrate into a dynamic team of experienced consultants, engaging in diverse projects across various locations. This hands-on approach will immerse you in consultant responsibilities remote or directly at client sites.

Possible responsibilities include:

• Implementing, realigning, expanding, and/or optimizing existing IT systems
• Reviewing, evaluating and enhancing existing risk frameworks and risk processes
• Implementing new regulatory requirements (e.g., market, credit, liquidity, or operational risk)
• Providing technical assistance in developing smaller software tools commissioned by our North American clients

Dein Profil

• University degree and an affinity for IT and finance
• Preferably, a completed internship in banking, insurance, asset management or financial risk controlling
• Willingness to travel within North America and occasionally to Europe
• Preferred: Basic German skills or willingness to learn German
• Soft skills, such as analytical and critical thinking, initiative, openness, communication skills as well as enthusiasm, flexibility and teamwork abilities
