Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. in Wichita, KS seeks an experienced broadcast and digital anchor to join our newsroom team.

You will anchor the noon newscast and contribute to streaming content across KSN.com, our streaming channel KSN, YouTube, and social platforms, delivering clear, engaging reporting for multiple outlets. The ideal candidate has a journalism degree, 3+ years of news reporting and anchoring, strong writing, and the ability to lead streaming initiatives with accuracy and strong news

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years' experience in news reporting; regular or fill-in anchoring experience.
Fluency in English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with ad lib capability.
Superior on-air presence and strong news judgment.
Proficiency with newsroom, digital and streaming systems (vMix, Akta); editing and camera equipment.
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks.
Good driving record and flexibility to work any shift.

Responsibilities
