Job summary

Fairview Elementary School in Chicopee, Massachusetts is seeking a Noon Attendant to provide adult supervision of children during the lunch period. Immediate starting date. May be required to work during adverse weather conditions.

The position is part-time with a pay rate up to $18.46 per hour, reporting to the Building Principal. Applicants must be able to work Monday through Friday and maintain a positive attitude when working with children.

TITLE: NOON ATTENDANT

REPORTS TO: BUILDING PRINCIPAL

POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE:To provide adult supervision of children during the lunch time period. You may be required to work during adverse weather conditions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain order of students; report any students not following safety or school rules to the building principal.
• Insure the safety and protection of students.
• Report any stranger to the office.
• Report accidents to the office.
• Report any unsafe playground areas and equipment.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
