Job summary

Southern Arkansas University is seeking a part-time Business Operations Manager II to enhance organizational operations. This role is hybrid based in Atlanta and requires 20 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will oversee AP/AR operations and ensure program delivery while supporting organizational growth. Key requirements include 4+ years in accounting and management, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. A 2-year degree is necessary, with preference for a 4-year degree.

The hiring range is $30-33 per hour, with additional benefits for part-time employees.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in accounting (AP/AR duties).
• 4+ years in a supervisory/management role.
• 3+ years of experience in operations, project management, or administration.
• Demonstrated high performance and strong motivation.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AP/AR operations ensuring accuracy.
• Supervise and mentor operations staff.
• Support HR-related tasks involving SHRM knowledge.
• Maintain documentation and process workflows.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve operational efficiency.
