CAPS & Maple City is seeking a Marketing and Communications Intern to gain hands-on nonprofit marketing experience. Working with the Vice President of Community Outreach and Advancement, you will help communicate the impact of integrated community and clinical services through compelling stories and creative communications.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or related field.
• Previous professional experience in communications/marketing preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to tell stories.

Responsibilities

• Build a mission-centered story bank featuring patients, families, volunteers, staff, donors, and programs.
• Develop social media content highlighting prevention, healthcare, and community impact.
• Draft newsletters and press releases communicating outcomes and milestones.
• Create branded graphics and maintain templates and digital assets.
• Assist with events, donor communications, and community outreach initiatives.
