Job summary

Wisconsin Public Radio is seeking a seasoned Non-Profit Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of PBS Wisconsin’s fundraising entities. You will lead budgeting, reporting, and audits, and ensure accurate Form 990 filings, working alongside the UW–Madison WPM finance team.

The role requires managing multiple 501(c)(3) organizations, supervising finance staff, and coordinating with fundraising leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with nonprofit GAAP and Form 990 filings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations of the 501(c)(3)s (Friends and WPRA).
• Prepare annual financial statements and Form 990 filings.
• Manage budgeting, reporting, and audits; supervise accounts payable/receivable and treasury functions.
