Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking an Audit Senior to join our nonprofit practice in-office. You will plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements, work closely with clients, and prepare financial statements and related disclosures.

You’ll assess internal controls and mentor staff to build inspired careers. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA exam preferred, 2 years of audit experience (nonprofit a plus), and willingness to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.
• Nonprofit experience strongly preferred.
• Single Audit experience is a plus.
• Occasional travel to client sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Work closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and related disclosures and reportable condition correspondence letters.
• Assess the design and implementation of internal controls.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
