Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in a career in public accounting and nonprofit work.

Responsibilities

• Participate in audit, review and compilation engagements from planning through issuance.
• Perform walkthroughs of client controls.
• Develop the ability to audit areas such as cash, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, accounts payable, deferred revenue, other liabilities, and payroll.
• Obtain and review evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented.
• Prepare Form 990 returns for clients.
• Perform self-review of all work prior to review by your supervisor.
• Ensure adherence to firm and professional standards.
