Job summary

WVU Medicine is seeking a Non-invasive Cardiologist for the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. This role is primarily based in Wheeling, West Virginia, with potential assignments requiring travel across West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality patient care, teaching medical students and residents, and practicing both general and interventional cardiology.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for a state license is required.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
• Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Practice general and interventional cardiology within the hospital setting.
• Provide high quality patient care.
• Actively teach medical students, residents, and fellows in cardiology.
