Qualifications

• 25 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Current CPR/1st Aid/AED certification is mandatory.
• Pass Criminal Background Check and DOT Physical.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers or goods to their destinations.
• Follow all traffic laws while operating the vehicle.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle.

Skills

Clean 10-year MVR

Driving experience, preferably as a bus driver or van driver

Strong physical stamina

Customer service skills

Education

High school diploma or GED

Schedule Requirements:

• 10‑12 hour shifts
• 3 to 5 shifts per week
• Must be available to start as early as 5:00 AM and end as late as 7:00 PM
• Part‑time Monday – Saturday, with occasional Sundays

Qualifications:

• 25 years of age or older
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean 10‑year MVR (no recent tickets or accidents) – must bring to interview
• Pass Criminal Background Check (no arrest record)
• Pass DOT Physical
• Pass Drug Screen
• Pass Defensive Driving Course and PASS Course
• Current CPR/1st Aid/AED certification
• Current Wheelchair certification
• Cell phone (Android or iPhone)
• High school diploma or GED
• Driving experience, preferably as a bus driver or van driver
• Familiarity with paratransit services (if applicable)
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting
• Experience in shuttle driving or delivery driving (plus)

Job Duties:

• Safely transport passengers or goods to their destinations in a timely manner
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
• Maintain a clean and well‑maintained vehicle
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, if applicable
• Communicate effectively with passengers and address any concerns or questions they may have
• Excellent customer service skills
• Follow GPS instructions and use critical thinking to locate addresses
• Follow directions
• Punctual; show up to work on time
• Perform prolonged periods of sitting; perform reaching, stooping, and bending
• Maintain hearing and vision within normal range to drive safely and communicate with clients
• Transport patients to and from doctor’s appointments, treatment centers, hospitals, programs, and pharmacies
• Operate wheelchair lifts as needed
• Adhere to company policies and protocol
• Adhere to all federal, state, and agency rules regarding HIPAA
