Caravan Facilities Management LLC in Norton Shores, MI is seeking a reliable Janitor to keep building interiors clean and orderly. The role supports operations by performing routine cleaning tasks across lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.

The Non Exempt, full-time position requires attention to safety, punctuality, and strong work ethic, with the ability to follow directions and work well in a team. You will help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for occupants and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Education and/or Experience: Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents; communicate and write routine reports.
  • Reasoning Ability: Basic problem-solving and judgment capabilities.

Responsabilités

  • Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
  • Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
  • Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
  • Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Dusts furniture and equipment.
  • Polishes metalwork.
  • Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
  • Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays.
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Replenishes bathroom supplies.
  • Replaces light bulbs.
  • Cuts and trims grass, and shovels snow if required in contract for site.
