Job summary

Glenview Professional Pharmacy in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking an experienced Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. This full-time role requires hands-on compounding experience and the ability to work accurately with formulas, SOPs, and documentation.

You will prepare non-sterile compounds such as capsules, creams, ointments, gels, suspensions, and troches, maintain compliance with USP <795>, and assist with inventory and BUD tracking.

Experienced Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Full-Time | DFW Area | $23-$27/hour DOE

We are seeking an experienced Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our growing pharmacy team.

This is not an entry-level compounding position. We are specifically looking for a technician with hands-on non-sterile compounding experience who can work accurately, efficiently, and with minimal training.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare non-sterile compounded medications according to formulas and SOPs.
• Compound capsules, creams, ointments, gels, suspensions, solutions, and troches.
• Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and calculate ingredients.
• Complete compounding records and required documentation.
• Follow USP <795> standards and quality-control procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant compounding area.
• Assist with inventory, ingredients, and BUD/expiration tracking.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous hands-on non-sterile compounding experience required.
• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician Registration.
• Strong pharmaceutical math and calculation skills.
• Experience with multiple non-sterile dosage forms.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.

Preferred:

• 2+ years of non-sterile compounding experience.
• PTCB/CPhT certification.
• Strong working knowledge of USP <795>.
• Experience in an independent or specialty compounding pharmacy.
• Sterile Compounding Experience is Preferred, but not Required.

Compensation:

$24-$27/hour, depending on directly relevant experience.

We are willing to pay toward the top of the range for an experienced technician who can step into the compounding lab and contribute with minimal training.
